Let's make Kuroshima's Fukure Manju with the Island Grandmothers!
Fukure Manju has been an essential sweet for celebrations in Kuroshima for many years. It is also a traditional home-made sweet whose recipe was handed down from mother to child or mother-in-law to bride. Made from simple ingredients, but tastes so good that you cannot stop eating it once you try. After making Manju, there will be tasting and you may take two home as a souvenir.
