Find here the cute white catfish associated with beauty and health

Iimori Shrine has long been considered as the guardian deity of the Ainoura area. The unique aspect of this shrine is a large stone statue of a catfish enshrined near the main hall building. One of the legends is that a resident who suffered from a skin disease once prayed to a stone in the shape of a catfish on the shrine grounds and was cured of the disease. It is believed to be beneficial for beauty and health, and their "white catfish fortune slip," in which a wooden white catfish holds a fortune slip, is attracting more and more visitors. Great news for collectors of Goshuin (shrine seal stamps) is the sale of original special stamp albums decorated with the images of Mt. Atago and Kujuku Islands. A new Goshuin is released monthly.
