Tonoo market street has been familiar to citizens as the kitchen of Sasebo since the Taisho era. Tunnel Yokocho is a market which was built inside the former wartime shelter. Shops of local marine products, processed seafood, vegetables, daily goods, clothing and so on stand side by side.
