The view of the Saikai National Park Kujukushima from the inn at the westernmost tip of the Japanese mainland is spectacular.

The last setting sun on the Japanese mainland is magical. The place is very quiet, surrounded by the ocean and mountains. There are no shops near the inn in this very rural, rarely visited part of the region. The inn prides itself on the fresh seafood of the Kujuku Islands. Any sashimi leftover from dinner is marinated and served at breakfast.
