The cherry trees at Matsuura Railway Uranosaki Station were planted about 90 years ago when the station opened for business. Today, they form magnificent rows, giving the station its moniker, "Station of Cherry Blossoms." About 80 Someiyoshino cherry trees create a tunnel in full bloom, attracting many photographers and blossom viewers.
