The site is one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Nagasaki Prefecture. There are about 2,000 cherry trees, and the sight of them spreading out from the park entrance to the promenade is stunning and delights many visitors. It also has a petting zoo with animals, including peacocks, making it a great place for families.
