Since 1955, we have been sourcing our fish from the Sasebo fish market and in 1988, we opened a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar. Our award-winning head chef, Ichiro Fujinaga, trained in Kansai for 10 years. Our seasonal menus, including premium Osechi, ehomaki, and grilled eel bowl, are popular. In the 2014 Sasebo Local Gourmet Votes, organized by the Sasebo Convention and Visitors Association, we entered four categories and were highly commended in them, winning gold and silver awards. Our meticulous cooking and seasoning of Japanese cuisine have led to the development of low-temperature vacuum-cooked products, approved in 2016 for Sasebo Hometown Tax Return products.
